BigCommerce Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce websites and mobile apps using BigCommerce.
Customize BigCommerce themes and templates to meet specific project requirements.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the website and mobile app deliver a seamless user experience.
Implement custom features, functionalities, and integrations using BigCommerce APIs and SDKs.
Optimize site performance, including page load times, responsiveness, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BigCommerce platform and integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute e-commerce strategies.
Stay updated with the latest BigCommerce updates, tools, and best practices.
Ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and proper version control.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience working with BigCommerce development on Stencil Framework and Contentful.
Strong knowledge of BigCommerce’s architecture, theme customization, and API integration.
Experience in developing mobile apps and integrating them with e-commerce platforms.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
Experience with back-end development using languages such as PHP or Node.js.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
